Josh Harty
Josh Harty
Josh Harty's unique blend of American music has become a must see for those who keep the tradition of country, blues and folk close to their hearts. Born and raised on the plains of North Dakota, Josh has continued the old family occupation of playing guitar, developed in the church halls and smoky rooms of the great midwest. His father, both a preacher, and the Police Chief of their small town, was also Harty's music mentor. From age 6, Josh and his father traveled the Midwest performing at senior centers, churches, small town festivals and the like. After three critically acclaimed solo albums, 2 duo albums and many years touring continuously across the US & Europe, he hasn't slowed down. Harty's live shows prove that good story telling combined with journeyman musicianship is as American as music gets.
